إذا اعتـدلت أقســـامه .. وطـالت ألفــه ولامــه
واستقامت سطوره .. وضاهى صعوده حدوده
وتفتــحت عيـــونه .. ولم تشـتبه راؤه ونونــه
وتســاوت اطنــابه .. واســتدارت أهــــــــدابه
وصــغرت نواجـــذه .. وانفتــحت محـــاجـره
وقـــــام لكاتـبـــه مقــــام النســبة والحليـــة
وخيـــل إليــــه أنــــه يتحـــرك وهـو سـاكن
